I am a great fan of Junie's music since the Ohio Players years and I think 'When the city' is his best album. More pop but always with P-funk background and synths. All the tracks are good and it is better each time I listen to it... especially 'Robot Love' , a very particular song with a fantastic groove.
The low tempo songs are great too!
Like I said, this is a must buy for anybody who loves music.

Hi Mr. Morrison,
You don't know me, but together with my twin brother we have been collecting P-Funk records for many years. When the word was out you were releasing a new Cd we jumped on the PC and ordered two copies of When The City. It came in yesterday and it hasn't left my player since!

Got your new CD today .. I like it alot.. The cuts that stand out for me are LA Stories, I'm Lying,That Dress, Both Mixes of When the City, Booty 4-2, and Cloud Sorcerer's Lament.

Listening to When the City right now... I just have to say: EXCELLENT. Liked it the first time through and it's really growing on me the second time around. The whole effort is amazing -- production, writing, performance...
